4-H is at it again – helping students (5th-8th) learn about Veggie Villains and Fruit Heroes. Projects and activities galore. Don’t be a [couch] potato and go! July 16 (tomorrow) at 1pm in the Creativity Corner of the Library.
It’s Storytime with Riley Scott!!
On Thursday, radio personality, Riley Scott will be sharing a story for the kiddos. Also enjoy some read-tastic snacks AND playtime. The fun starts at 10:30am at the library!
“The next Beatles of the Midwest” are coming for you!
It’s Beats and Eats, Freedom Road style! These Nebraska Hall of Famers are ready for a rockin’ good time and are hometown musical heroes! Are you ready?! It’s going to be legendary starting at 7pm in Frankfort Square on Thursday, June 17!
Let’s not forget the ‘to-die-for’ Eats that will be showcased too! Mouthwatering barbecue from Zeeky’s BBQ and everyone’s Chinese favorite Twin Happiness will be serving it up! And there’s potential for dessert: funnel cakes and Regina’s homemade gelato! Who could ask for more?!

The Legacy Youth Foundation is hosting its first Groove and Grub event for TEENS on Friday, July 18 in Frankfort Square! Enjoy tasty food and drinks with a side of music (A Side Vibe) starting at 6:30pm. Bruh – it’s gonna be bussin!

Kids: Jr Downtown Runaround is Friday at 7pm at Lake Esther.
Adults & Kids: Be fast! Be slow! Be there & finish! It’s the 38th Annual Bob Lauterbach Memorial race with a 5-mile run and 2.1 mile walk! If you haven’t signed up, the time is now! Starting line is at Glur’s Tavern!

Let’s get our rock and dancing shoes on! Friday, Saturday AND Sunday – Shenanigan’s is hosting FOUR separate bands! Used Cars (Friday), Doc Throttle (Saturday), Rocks in a Pocket (Sunday afternoon), Hector Anchondo Band (Blues artist and guitarist – Sunday evening). Whew! That’s so much entertainment – but you got this!!

This Saturday, July 19, listen to the vibes of Steve Wik & Chuck Ruby at Ski’s Bar & Grill! Wik is a famous opener for Black-Eyed Peas, Earth Wind & Fire and George Clinton & Parliament/Funkadelic. He also toured with Nelly! With nearly 3,000 songs on YouTube, this seems like an event we should NOT miss! Be one of the hip kids and be there when it starts at 9:30pm!

Joey Leone and his band will share the rhythm and History of Blues in America on Sunday, July 20 at the Library. Learn how it has impacted contemporary music from the last 7 decades. It’s FREE, so venture over and listen to some soul-searching vibes while learning some musical history.
Quiet on set – Calling all youth actors!
Lights, Camera, Action! The Missoula Children’s Theatre is in town! Open auditions for RED Riding Hood are on Monday, July 21 starting at 9:45am at Federated Church! Children K-12 are welcome and encouraged to participate!
