High-Energy Music Coming Your Way…

Trinity Lutheran Church is hosting a FREE concert – Esprit – My Place in this World Tour TONIGHT(July 8)! Starting at 7pm plan to be entertained by 48 high school students singing praise and having you rocking in your seat!

Art and Agriculture Lovers Unite!

The Columbus Art Gallery is showcasing Forged Fields: The Art of Agriculture this month in the Community Building. Take a minute and appreciate the exhibit!

Sleepy No More!

Sign up for the Inspire® Therapy for a Better Night’s Sleep Lunch & Learn at the hospital. Dr. Jazwick will share this groundbreaking treatment for those with sleep apnea starting at noon on July 10th. Registration appreciated.

Be A Hero – Donate!!

The Platte County Courthouse and the Columbus Community Hospital are each holding blood drives!  Save a life and donate on July 11! Go to our website and follow the links to get registered.

Olympians beware – the babies are coming!

Let the games begin!!  Go to Ag Park (exhibit building – 2nd floor) on Friday at 6pm and watch the babies compete – Walking, crawling, running and obstacles courses – nothing will get in their way!

Volleying and Tossing for Cause…

Help support the Lean On Foundation to raise suicide awareness by participating in the ‘Spiking Out The Stigma and Tossin For Tomorrow’ Volleyball/Cornhole Tournament on Saturday, July 12. The fun starts at 8:30am at Westbrook.

FINAL Weekend of horse racing fun…

Grab the fam, make some memories and watch the last weekend of horseracing fun – Friday, Saturday and Sunday!

Vegetables, handmade goods, yes please!

The Farmer’s Market opens at 7:30am on Saturday morning, so make sure you visit Frankfort Square and support these small businesses.

Pioneer the 1800’s…

Do you ever wonder what it was like to be a child in the 1800’s traveling the Oregon, Mormon or California Trails? Well, here’s your opportunity to learn a little about it. Renae Hunt will be unraveling the tales at the library on Sunday from 2-3pm!

  • Shenanigans is hosting bands July 18, 19 and 20th included Used Cars, Doc Throttle, Rocks in a Pocket and Hector Anchondo.
  • Ski’s Bar is hosting LIVE music by Steve Wik and Chuck Ruby straight from Chicago on July 19.
