Vision

One of the ways the Columbus Area Convention & Visitors Bureau fulfills this mission is to offer Improvement Fund grant applications to public and non-profit entities operating visitor services within the borders of Platte County, Nebraska. The grant cycle opens each year in September with completed applications due to the Columbus Area Convention & Visitors Bureau by the first business day of October each year. Applicants will present their projects to the Columbus Area Convention & Visitors Bureau Advisory Board meeting in November and/or December. Approved Improvement Grants are required to give a final presentation at the next available County Board of Supervisors meeting. Award letters and agreements will be mailed following the Board of Supervisors meeting.
