June is almost in the books, yet the entertainment is just as strong as ever!

Is your child the next golf pro?

If you don’t get them signed up for the Van Berg Golf Camp you will never know! Sign up weekly to build your child’s golfing skills. Every Wednesday, there are half day and full day lessons for a small fee. Lunch included.

5-8th graders – get your listening ears ready…

4-H is hosting a fun ‘Name That Tune’ event at the Columbus Public Library on Wednesday, June 25 from 1-2pm for fifth through eighth graders. Brush up on your musical skills and win the game!

Lasso some western poetry storytelling on Thursday

Jake Riley from Colorado brings his word magic from 5-7pm in the form of poetry to the Library. Enjoy tales of rodeo and roping and so much more.

The Jim Davis exhibit is ending very soon, so stop by the community building to view Jim Davis’ storytelling art.

Lively tunes and yummy goodness at Beats & Eats

On Thursday, singer/songwriter Jim Davis takes you on a vocal journey of classic and country rock starting at 7pm. Savor cold treats from Macey’s Snow Cones and ‘cowabunga! Pies’ from Turtle Power Pizza!

Saturday, Andy William and the Nebraska All Stars will be singing their hearts out starting at 7pm in Frankfort Square. As the beats play on, grab yourself some amazing Black Market Pizza.

Plus at each event, enjoy the traditional Funnel Cakes AND you may even see Regina’s Gelato Factory rolling by.

LINDSAY PIVOT DAYS – Friday & Saturday – fun for the entire fam!

Get registered to support the St. John’s Lutheran School & Daycare on Saturday morning with a FUN RUN starting at 8am in Platte Center. Win prizes for best patriotically dressed and more. Bounce houses, toddler run and FREE childcare ahead!

Pitch, Hit, Run MLB style…

Calling all softball and baseball players – register for a FREE competition for boys and girls ages 7-14 to see if you have what it takes to pitch, hit and run! The fun and games start Saturday at 10am at Pawnee Park’s Legion Baseball Field. Bring your A-game!

Lawnmowers, golf carts, ATVs start your engines!

Head to Elmwood Park in Platte Center and register for the Lawnmower Poker Run! $10/hand starting at 2pm on Saturday, June 28! Play your cards right and cash back is your prize!
