On Thursday, gather your besties and head over to Market23 for Ladies Night from 3-8pm. It’s going to be a blast! Browse through the stalls for unique, locally made gifts, indulge in some self-care, and sample some delicious Nebraska wine and spirits. Don’t miss out on this fun event!

Hey, it’s time to head to Monroe for the Holiday Lights Drive Thru at the Horn T Zoo! It’s happening from Thursday, Dec 4th to Sat., Dec. 6th, from 6-9pm each night. Come on down and enjoy the lights throughout December! Don’t forget to stop by the Gift Shop and grab some souvenirs!
Santa is coming! Santa is coming!
Guess what? Santa Claus is coming to Columbus Community Hospital on Thursday, Dec. 4th, from 4-6pm! Families can bring their letters for Santa and take pictures with the jolly old elf. If you’re bringing a Santa letter, please include the child’s first and last name and a return address so Santa’s workshop can get back to you. If you can’t make it on December 4th for Santa’s visit, no worries! Just bring your letter to the hospital’s gift shop between December 4-18. They’ll be happy to help you get your letter to Santa.

This Friday, get ready for A Cozy Christmas evening filled with music and poetry! Tanner Olson and Blake Flattley are performing at 7pm at the 1C The Sanctuary. Don’t miss out on the pre-show event starting at 5pm, where you can enjoy delicious chili and cinnamon rolls. It’s the perfect way to kick off the Christmas season!
It’s a holiday parade!
We’re thrilled to kick off the holiday season with you! Get ready to bundle up, spread some cheer, and have a blast on Saturday night at 7:30pm! The holiday parade route is traveling down 13th Street between 30th Ave – 24th Ave. Just a heads up, parking will be limited, so plan ahead! 🚗🛣️ Also, try to avoid 12th Street. That’s where parade staging is before it starts. See you there! 🎉
It’s A Christmas Craft Fair!!
Come on down to the Christmas Craft Fair this Saturday, Dec. 6th, from 10am-3pm at Prime 10 Steakhouse & Venue! It’s a great place to support local small businesses and have a fun time. Plus, there’s free entry, a 50/50 split-the-pot raffle to benefit the Converge Youth Group, and you can even win some cool door prizes! Let’s go!!!

Mark your calendars for Saturday, Dec 6th from 1-3pm! Big Pals Little Pals is hosting a Winter Wonderland Festival at Camp Luther, and you’re invited! Come meet the jolly old Santa Claus, take a thrilling ride through a magical winter wonderland, and stay warm by the crackling fireplace with a mug of hot cocoa or cider. Enjoy live entertainment, holiday crafts, fun games, a bake sale, and even a delicious soup cook-off! Small admission to attend. It’s going to be a day filled with laughter, holiday cheer, and unforgettable memories. They can’t wait to see you there!
It’s a Charlie Brown Christmas!
It’s a heartwarming holiday celebration at Central Community College–Columbus Theatre! This special family event brings the classic spirit of A Charlie Brown Christmas to life with music, activities, and a charming performance perfect for all ages. Children, parents, grandparents, and friends are invited explore several hands-on activity stations, including coloring, ornament making, Christmas cookie decorating, a photo booth, and a cozy hot chocolate station. Experience a joyful hour-long performance featuring a short choir and band presentation that leads seamlessly into A Charlie Brown Christmas play. Performances are Saturday and Sunday!
A night in Bethlehem…
FREE interactive event inside the 30 Center Mall! Experience Bethlehem and its inhabitants. Register with the Census Taker, shop in the marketplace, and make your own purse, headdress, perfume, bread, and more. Participate in fun dances. Before leaving, visit the stable where you’ll meet the newborn Messiah, Jesus Christ. Visit between 5-8pm on Saturday, Dec 6. Bring your family to bring the Christmas story to life and create lasting memories.
Comedy anyone?
Come join us for a fun evening of shopping and storytelling with the hilarious comedian Michael Lachance on Saturday, Dec. 6th at Ag Park! Doors open at 6 pm, and the show starts at 7 pm. We’ll have some yummy snacks and a cash bar, so you can grab a drink and munch on something while you wait. And if you’re looking for last-minute stocking stuffers, you’ll be happy to know we’ll have some local vendors selling their wares. All the proceeds from this event go to the Holiday Spirit Coop, so you can feel good about supporting a great cause. Tickets are available at the Ag Park office or N-Stant Convenience. Peace Lutheran Church is having a Spaghetti Feed this Sunday from 11:30am-1:30pm! It’s a great way to support the Columbus team’s medical mission to Puerto Cabezas, Nicaragua, in January 2026. Hope to see you there!
