It’s Board Game Week!
The teen area tables in the library will be decked out with a variety of board games for the teens and tweens to have a blast with all week long! Come check it out!
Did someone say tacos…
It’s Tuesday taco night! Head over to Husker Bar and indulge in their famous Indian tacos or their regular tacos. The kitchen opens from 5 PM to 10 PM, and the tacos are served from 5 PM to 9 PM.

Fox, Fairways, shenanigans and more!
The Platte Valley Playhouse is ready to make you laugh and have a good ‘ol time at the college! Get your tickets for A Fox On the Fairway, a tribute from Ken Ludwig (Lend Me A Tenor, Moon Over Buffalo), that will take you on a hilarious romp. This comedic masterpiece, set in the 1930s and 1940s, follows the stuffy denizens of a private country club as they are pulled under the rug by a series of mistaken identities, slamming doors, and over-the-top romantic shenanigans. The furiously paced comedy recalls the Marx Brothers’ classics, creating a charmingly madcap adventure about love, life, and man’s eternal love affair with golf.

Fish Fry (Duncan Fire) Fundraiser
Join the Duncan Fire & Rescue for their 2nd annual fish fry fundraiser to help raise funds! On Friday March 13th make your way to the Duncan Fire Department from 5-8 PM for an All-You-Can-Eat Buffet! The Duncan Bluejays will be selling beverages, otherwise BYOB – Adult beverages are allowed. Take-Out available too!
After the Fish Fry, head to My Place Bar where C&D Unplugged will be rocking the bar until midnight and celebrating St. Patrick’s Day style! The fun starts at 8pm!
Mountain Oysters & Taco Bar!
The Eagle Riders charities is raising funds for various charities. Stop by the Eagles Club, grab some Rocky Mountain Oysters or enjoy the taco bar on Saturday, March 14 starting at 4:30pm.
Grab your swimsuit…
We’re heading to a Glow in the Dark Pool Party on Saturday from 6-8pm at the Aquatic Center! Party favors provided – you just need to bring the fun!

Laughter is the best medicine…
Husker Bar is hosting a night of comedy with two amazing headliners on Saturday, March 14. Chris Speyrer, a comedian from Ohio, has opened for some of the biggest names in comedy like Dave Chappelle, Larry the Cable Guy, and Brian Regan. And guess what? “Blind” Stein, a two-time Comedy Contest winner in Illinois, is also on the bill! This guy is a rising star, with appearances on podcasts, radio, and TV. Don’t miss out on this hilarious night! Dinner is at 7pm and the show starts at 8pm. Call Todd at 402-276-2042 for tickets!
Olympic Medalist Curt Tomasevicz talks faith…
The United Methodist Men are hosting a special evening with Curt Tomasevicz on March 16, 2026. It’s going to be at the First UMC Church at 2710 14th St, Columbus, NE. Curt, an Olympic bobsledder and Husker football player, will share his incredible story and how his faith helped him through his 10-year journey through three Olympics. It’s open to everyone – men, women, and youth are all welcome! The program starts at 7:15 pm. Come and be inspired!
