Sorry gentleman, but supper is on you tonight cause it’s the Girls Night Out! Wildflower Pastries, B/B Hat Company, Kristina Cole Charm Bar and Valencia Boutique have teamed up for some quality girl time in the Trackside District. The fun starts at 5pm so don’t be late!
AND ladies, it doesn’t end there! Urban Farm Boutique is hosting their Fall Gathering starting on Thursday and ending on Sunday! I may have seen some pumpkins and fall arrangements and so much more added to the shop, but you should check it out yourself! You won’t be disappointed! Bring on fall, friends!

I know we are all thinking it – where has summer gone? It’s also the end of racing season with the Championship night at US 30 Speedway. Go and support these racers and see who takes home the trophies on Thursday night! Engines rev up at 8pm.

Show your punting, passing and kicking skills in this FREE event sponsored by the Columbus Optimist Club. On Saturday, check in and register at 9:30am at the Columbus High School Football field and show us how it’s done! It’s for ages 6-15, so make it happen!
Runways, wings, propellers, landings….
AND, yes, BURGERS! On Saturday (August 23) at noon, AvCraft is hosting the 2nd Community Spectacular Airport Fly-In at the airport! There will be planes, [sorry no trains], burgers, chips, sodas and water for a small donation! Meander through the air strip and talk planes with the pilots! Remember, they will only be serving meals until they’re gone, so lift that landing gear and get there on time!

You are about to find out, if you attend the Immanuel Lutheran School’s Trivia Night Extravaganza! It’s this Saturday at the Immanuel Family Life Center and you won’t want to be late. Trivia is by Trivia Mafia – sounds scary but I am sure you will be safe! Doors open at 6:30pm; show your smarts at 7pm. It’s BYOB and snacks and a small fee to attend! Help support a great school! THEY ARE STILL TAKING TEAMS, so BE SMART and get in on the action now!

Now this is not your ordinary quilting discussion! Native American Patty Provost will be sharing her expert knowledge on the history and significance of quilting to the Native American Culture. On Sunday, come learn from 2-3pm in the 3rd floor community room of the Library.

Gotcha! It’s not that kind of bizzare! Lindsay Holy Family Parish is hosting their Bazaar & Dinner on Sunday, August 24 starting at 3pm in Lindsay. They will be serving Roast Beef and Sausage with all the trimmings from 4-7pm! Beer Garden, raffles, inflatable toys, carnival games – SO MUCH FUN! The games start at 3pm!
