Health screenings, products, services and more!!
Harvest for Health community event is Thursday, Sept. 4! FREE & discounted health screenings, health care products and services, as well as what’s new in the community. There will be more than 40 businesses there to help you navigate your health! It’s from 7am to noon at the Fieldhouse, so don’t be late! Your health is counting on it!
Vegetables, handmade goods, yes please!
The Farmer’s Market opens at 7:30 am on Saturday morning, so make sure you visit Frankfort Square and support these small businesses. You will find so many unique things while picking up some homegrown vegetables.
The 3 B’s: Baskets, Beer & Brats!
Country Lane Gardens invite you to create your very own fall basket AND enjoy a beer and brat this Saturday! With gardening gloves and koozie in hand, grab your partner, dear friend, or siblings and make it a day of fun creation! It’s a Dance Fest!
Rock those heels and dancing shoes – the first annual 402 Perreo Fest hits Columbus on Saturday at the Riverside Lounge! The LED Dance Floor lights up at 9pm! Dance to Confetti Live DJs and enjoy some amazing drink specials! Your feet may hurt a little when the night’s over but it will be worth it! You must be 18+ to attend!
It’s Cultural Movie Day – Sunday!
Our Library friends invite you for a FREE family-friendly movie and treats on Sunday at 1:30pm! Sit back and learn about a new culture in the Heritage Room on the second floor!
Hey kids – Parchesi anyone?! How about Checkers?
If you don’t know what parchesi is, I highly recommend stopping at the library and learning how to play! It’s Board Game Day on Monday, Sept 8 ALL DAY long!
Fall Fashion ahead…
The Columbus Women’s Club is hosting a Fall Luncheon & Style Show on Monday (noon) at the Oak Room. Barbara Jean’s will share all the new fall fashion must-haves for the season! You don’t have to be a member of the club to watch, so if you want to make sure your wardrobe doesn’t go stale, you know where to be!

Monday (8-10pm – yes that is a PM) and Tuesday (9am-4pm) next week, stop by the Hospital and shop boutique 29 eleven’s drop in store. You will find so many fashion-forward finds while supporting the Hospital’s Volunteer and Guest Services department. I think that seems like a great reason to shop, don’t you??

Gun Show at Ag Park, Sunday, Sept 14 from 9am-4pm
Stand-Up Comedy/Musical Show featuring Matt Geiler – Friday, Sept 19. Get ready for some belly laughs and your cheeks sore from smiling so much. Geiler has been featured on America’s Got Talent, Wayne Brade Live and The Comedy Show Show. This fundraiser will help support the new Downtown Theatre.
51st Annual Columbus Marching Festival is Saturday, Sept 27 with the parade at 10am and field competition at 1pm. There is a new route using 14th street past Frankfort Square. It is also a NSBA-sanctioned competition featuring 20 bands competing across six classifications! Come out and support this fantastic annual event!
