“Telling Stories” exhibit is waiting for you!

It’s time to stop by the Community Building and check out Jim Davis’ exhibit. Not only does he sing, but he has an amazing artistic flair. You can view it all month, so head on over.

‘Tails’ of a young mermaid princess…

TODAY [June 10] at 1pm, the Crane River Theater Co. will be entertaining families with “The Little Mermaid” program. You will find all the sea life in the Community Room on the 3rd floor of the Community Building.

The odds could be in your favor…

Grab your buddies! It’s time to get your cards straight and play a friendly game of Texas Hold’em. You can attend weekly at the Eagles Club. Don’t leave those cards on the table!

Tee up for the next generation of golfers…

This is weekly, my friends –Van Berg Golf Camp is ready to build your child’s golfing skills. Youth can sign up for half day and full day of golfing lessons for a small fee which includes lunch. Don’t miss out on giving your kiddos this lifelong skill. 🙂

Cottonwood Senior Living is hosting a Memory Lane Car Show on Thursday (4-6pm). If you are a car enthusiast, this may be your jam. Plus you can tour the facility and enjoy some cool refreshments!

Hammer down to the finish line…

Every Thursday, the US 30 Speedway races will have you on the edge of your seat. Go enjoy the heat of competition starting at 8 pm.

Roping into the Wild, Wild West…

This is no Trick – well maybe a little trick. Watch Joan Wells, World Champion Trick Roper, spin and lasso her way around the 3rd floor community room on Friday morning at 10:30am. Don’t get tied up – giddy-up to the Community Building for an amazing show! AND it’s free!

First Call for the horses PLUS LIVE music…

It may be Friday the 13th but we are all very lucky! The horse races start AND Finding Gotham band will be playing at Harrah’s following the running of the horses. As always, the horse races are a family event, so bring the kids and make some family memories. Unfortunately, you must be 21 to enjoy the music so call the sitter and enjoy your adult time!

Gherkins? Bread & Butter? Dill? Are you feeling pickley yet?

We’ve seen the retro van. We’ve seen the moves of dancing pickles. The time has come! If you haven’t got your tickets, it’s a ‘BIG DILL’, cause you will MISS OUT!  This Saturday is PICKLEFEST! You will certainly be ‘in a pickle’ if you don’t enjoy these festivities.

Rockin’ it on the streets of Platte Center!

Country, Rock, 70’s, 80’s, 90’s, Food Trucks galore this Saturday in Platte Center. Get your dancing shoes on and support the Platte Center Fire Department street dance starting at 5:30pm.

Toe-tapping energy at Beats & Eats

On Thursday, Leo-Lonnie Orchestra takes the stage with polka, waltzes and big band vibes starting at 7pm. Enjoy tasty treats from Macey’s Snow Cones, Sprockets Freedom Dogs and Donut NV trucks.

Barrelhouse band brings bluesy vibes to the (Frankfort) Square on Saturday starting at 7pm. Cheers to smooth, soulful sounds as you enjoy traditional Chinese cuisine from Twin Happiness food truck.

Vegetables, handmade goods, yes please!

Every Saturday, the Farmer’s Market opens at 7:30 am, so make sure you visit Frankfort Square and support these small businesses.
